HG’s ongoing scheme for Southern Housing Group delivers 550 homes to the local community including commercial space, located in Shoreham-on-Sea, West Sussex.

Phase 1 encompassed the design and build of 137 affordable homes comprising 40 rental properties and 97 shared ownership alongside commercial space on the ground and first floors. Shared facilities include a communal garden terrace area, parking, and bike storage.

Phase 2 comprised design and construction of two further residential structures.
The eight-storey and seven-storey buildings will collectively house 146 one and two-bedroom apartments with a mixed tenure of affordable and shared ownership.
The design includes a landscaped blue roof podium deck and basement to house car parking, in addition to a commercial allocation for the local yacht club and eateries.

A dedicated Community Resilience Officer will be jointly employed by HG and SHG to support new tenants, homeowners and drive local community initiatives.
