HG Construction has been appointed as the main contractor on a new £73m PBSA scheme in Wembley for YourTRIBE.
The scheme marks the third PBSA scheme that HG Construction has delivered for YourTRIBE. Previous collaborations with YourTRIBE include a 250-bed scheme at Ilderton Road and a 226-bed scheme at Avonmouth Street, both in London.
Located close to Wembley Stadium, the scheme will deliver 609 student beds across two buildings. The development comprises three blocks: a south block of 19 and 27 storeys providing 409 student rooms with amenity areas at basement, ground and first floor levels; and a north block rising to 21 storeys with 200 student rooms and amenity space at ground and first floor levels. The scheme also includes c.15,000 sq ft of commercial space.
Following Gateway 2 approval at the end of last year, construction is now underway and expected to complete in summer 2028. HG Construction will leverage its self-delivery capabilities on the scheme, including concrete frame, SFS, bathroom pods and drylining – securing substantial quality, programme and sustainability benefits.
