Avonmouth Street is a 15-storey scheme for YourTRIBE completed by HG at the end of 2025. It marks our second development for the client – a striking student housing led scheme comprising 226 student beds and vibrant shared spaces, with commercial space on the basement and lower floors. 

Located just minutes from University of the Arts and London South Bank University, the development includes 35% affordable accommodation, improving access for local students. 

From a double‑basement excavation to the reworking of the surrounding public realm, the team overcame significant logistical challenges to deliver the project three months ahead of programme. HG’s in‑house delivery capabilities – including concrete frame, M&E and offsite bathroom pods – played a key role in securing programme certainty and quality for the client.

The scheme has successfully reconnected the building with Newington Gardens, as well as improving pedestrian and cycle routes for wider community benefit. It’s a fantastic showcase of what can be achieved through close collaboration, clear ambition and disciplined delivery.
