Longcross Court, Cardiff

Status: Current
Category: Student Accommodation / Co-living
Value: £68M
Client: Fusion Group

The Longcross Court redevelopment will deliver 706 student rooms for Fusion across a series of linked buildings from 18 to 9 storeys. The scheme forms part of wider regeneration of this key gateway into Cardiff city centre.

The development includes around 8,000 sqft of amenity space and approximately 6,000 sqft of commercial space, alongside extensive public realm improvements.

HG will self‑deliver piling and employ a traditional construction approach with a predominantly brick façade, complemented by stone banding. Renewable technologies include air source heat pumps and photovoltaic panels.

The site’s position on two of Cardiff’s busiest roads presents significant logistical challenges with limited laydown space: all deliveries and operations will require careful planning and coordination with supply chain partners.
