I joined HG in 2019 as a Project Manager, bringing with me a strong background in site and project management. From my first scheme, HG supported my development by giving me exposure to increasingly complex and higher value projects, alongside consistent guidance from senior management. This trust and support enabled me to progress to Senior Project Manager in 2022 and into my current role as Project Director in 2024.
Now approaching seven years with HG, I oversee multiple large scale schemes and continue to develop my career within a collaborative culture where leadership is always accessible and professional growth is actively encouraged.

I joined HG Construction at 18 after completing two weeks of work experience, which inspired me to apply for a trainee quantity surveyor role. Keen to follow a learning‑and‑earning route, I combined full‑time work with a Construction Management degree, gaining hands‑on experience alongside my studies.
I progressed quickly, becoming an Assistant Quantity Surveyor within two years and a Quantity Surveyor on completion of my five‑year degree. In 2022, I was proud to be named HG’s Trainee of the Year.
Now an established Quantity Surveyor, I enjoy working on complex projects from early design through to completion and mentoring junior team members. Looking ahead, I plan to work towards chartership with RICS or CIOB as I continue to develop my career at HG Construction.

Completing a part-time Construction Management degree whilst working with HG gave me the opportunity to gain both workplace and on-site experience. This would not have been possible with a full-time degree, which is why the graduate scheme is so valuable. Not only was I able to work on a range of projects, but HG’s close-knit community was instrumental in building my skills and confidence when starting out in this industry.

I also felt extremely supported, whether it was out in the field or simply with advice on my assignments. The fact I am still here 20 years on, is testament to the positive environment HG has created in allowing its team members to flourish.

I began my career in architecture, studying in Malaga and gaining international experience in Florence, Utah, and South Korea. These early experiences gave me a broad perspective on design, culture, and the built environment.
After relocating to London in 2016, I worked at several leading architectural practices. During this time, I developed a strong interest in the construction process and the coordination required to bring complex schemes to life, which led me to transition into design management.
I joined HG Construction in 2021 and have since worked on major developments including the Hammersmith hotel and PBSA scheme for Dominus, The Becca scheme for Avanton, and the Canada Water scheme for Scape. I was drawn to HG’s open and collaborative culture, and I value the supportive environment, leadership training, and development opportunities the company provides.
I am passionate about delivering high-quality projects and particularly enjoy the variety, collaboration, and problem-solving that design management involves. Being part of a team that turns ambitious concepts into built reality is what motivates me most.
