HG’s student accommodation scheme at Alscot Road is the fifth project for long-standing client Alumno Developments. The scheme provides fully integrated facilities for 143 students, comprising high-quality rooms with shared amenities including a basement cinema lounge, study room, community area, car parking and 52 cycle spaces.

A redevelopment of a former industrial site, the new build comprises a structure ranging from 3 to 7 storeys. Designed with a mixture of traditional and modern methods of construction, HG  employed an insitu concrete frame solution from HG’s in-house team, alongside off-site bathroom pods. The façade is panelised SFS with composite windows, saw tooth brick walls and projecting feature concrete banding.
