The Avonmouth Street scheme is HG’s second development for client Tribe Student Housing. The scheme will provide an allocation of 35% affordable bedrooms for local university students.

Located in Elephant & Castle, the scope includes construction of a 16-storey tower to house 226 student rooms in addition to amenity space. The structure includes a double storey basement allocated for future commercial occupiers alongside teaching spaces.

The concrete frame is complimented with a brickwork façade; HG are self-delivering the frame, mechanical and electrical services, and offsite bathroom pods.  The scope further includes public realm improvements for pedestrians and cyclists.

With a very small site footprint, logistics are being carefully managed and planned, utilising just-in-time deliveries and local HG off-site storage compounds to maximise work space on site.
