Brooke House, Acton

Status: COMPLETE
Category: Residential
Value: £25M
Client: L&Q / WOMEN’S PIONEER HOUSING

The Brooke House development in Acton for L&Q / Women’s Pioneer Housing is a modern complex of 102 affordable apartments for women, particularly those facing inequality, disadvantage, or abuse.  The scheme was handed over to the client three months ahead of schedule.

The new 15-storey tower provides a mixture of one- and two-bedroom apartments alongside car parking facilities for residents. The concrete frame is finished with a brick façade and furnished with prefabricated bathroom pods from HG Offsite Solutions.

Externally, extensive hard and soft landscaping completes the scheme.

Located on the busy Gunnersbury Lane and adjacent to residents and the London Transport Museum, proactive and considerate logistical planning ensured the timely delivery of materials without impact to stakeholders.

In support of the local community and HG’s social value pledge, the team supported resident decant into new accommodation, including removals and redecoration of their new homes.
