Located in the conservation area of Westminster, Castle Lane is an affordable scheme on behalf of client Landsec, in partnership with housing provider Notting Hill Genesis.

The scope encompasses refurbishment, alteration and vertical extension works to the historic Victorian  North, South, Alexandra and Mews Buildings. The completed development will deliver 88 new one, two and three bedroom homes with an allocation of 26 London affordable rent, 34 intermediate market rent and 28 shared ownership. The scheme also includes the redevelopment of a single residential dwelling, formerly the Castle Lane Working Men’s Club.

The vertical extension works comprise a steel frame with SFS infill, creating an extra floor level on the existing structures.  The scope includes the creation of balconies, construction of cycle and refuse stores, a lift and staircase to the rear of the North Building. soft and hard landscaping including a children’s play area and cycle parking.
