The Glengall Road scheme on behalf of long-standing client Southern Housing Group comprises 170 residential apartments alongside 3700sqm of retail and commercial space. Once complete, the development will deliver 109 shared ownership, 45 social rent and 16 private sale new homes to the Southwark community.

Constructed on the site of a former factory and warehouse, the new scheme design includes RC frames, brick GRC and steel cladding and HG’s preferred off-site manufactured utility cupboards and bathroom pods.

The historic façade is being retained on two elevations to ensure the development is in keeping with the heritage of the local area.

An industrial chimney will also be preserved and incorporated into the scheme’s design, with the residential blocks centred around a landscaped courtyard.
