Minavil House is an impressive structure in the heart of Alperton. A regeneration development, the works comprised demolition of a commercial building and delivery of a modern, mixed use scheme including a 27-storey residential block, affordable workspaces, retail units, supermarket and car parking facilities. The project delivers 251 new affordable homes comprising 200 shared ownership and 51 rented.

The build was an RC frame with a breathable rain screen façade using CEMBRIT cementitious fibre board (fire resistant cladding) and mineral wool cavity insulation. The team generated a number of value-engineered innovative solutions offering both cost and programme efficiencies including off-site bathroom pods, utility cupboards and alternative balustrade and internal wall designs and products.
