Pablo Fanque House was another landmark student accommodation scheme on behalf of long-standing client Alumno Developments. Known as the tallest habitable building in Norwich, the impressive scheme was a unique design housing 245 student rooms and retail across a combination of five blocks, stepping up in height from eight storeys in the south and peaking at fourteen to the north of the site.
With a very short lead-in, the scheme was constructed utilising an in-situ concrete frame with brickwork cladding to better suit design and major programme limitations. HG’s preferred off-site bathroom pods were installed throughout the scheme in addition to other sustainable elements including green roof technologies.
