The Record Hall comprised an extensive transformation to create high-tech commercial office, studio, communal and workshop spaces over 6 floors and a basement.
The scope encompassed significant alteration works to the existing Victorian commercial building including strip out, demolition of two facades and lateral and vertical extensions (two-storey). Internally, works included a full office fit-out with exposed M&E services and timber flooring to the units with resin floors. The contract included major temporary works and the fit-out package to the front of house café and Club Workspace areas.
A steel frame extension was erected onto the existing structural system with two new facades using pre-cast brick panels and aluminium rainscreen cladding to the upper floors. All existing brickwork was renovated.
