The Croydon scheme was secured following HG’s successful delivery of client Wing Yip’s Cricklewood facility in North London.

The works comprised phased construction and extension works to the client’s operational cash and carry superstore. The scope included a bulk goods area, rooftop car park, alterations and extension to the existing oriental superstore, warehouse, goods area and associated business unit areas across the footprint.

With the store and warehouse remaining operational for 364 days of the year, high levels of logistical planning and client engagement were paramount to ensure the safe and timely delivery of the project, with minimal disruption to day-to-day operations.
