Health was firmly on the agenda at our Kennington site recently, where HG Construction team members took part in a meaningful Health and Wellbeing Construction Project, delivered in partnership with Metropolitan Thames Valley and supported by Macmillan Cancer Support, Tobacco Dependence Treatment, and Lambethtogether.net.

The event offered free health checks, prostate cancer insights, and complimentary food and drink – creating a relaxed and informative space for staff to focus on wellbeing. Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with many appreciating the opportunity to engage with expert organisations and take proactive steps toward better health.

At HG, we believe that wellbeing isn’t a one-off initiative – it’s a core part of how we support our teams every day. From mental health awareness to physical health resources, we work hard to champion a culture which prioritises wellbeing.
