Amano Hotel is an exciting project that HG construction is undertaking for Manex Properties and the Amano Group. Whilst the Amano group of hotels is well established in Germany, the new Covent Garden hotel is Amano’s first in the UK and promises to be a new and inspiring addition to London’s hotel offering.

The build consists of the redevelopment of 34-43 Russell Street, Covent Garden in to a 141 bed hotel with a bar, sky bar and roof terrace.   The site comprises a basement, ground floor and floors 1-5, with a new mansard roof.  Given its location in the theatre district of Covent Garden and the requirement to retain the existing commercial tenants on the ground floor, the project has presented logistical challenges. The HG team has overcome these challenges through implementing complex temporary works and ensuring strong community engagement throughout. The project is well underway and is due for completion in November 2021.
