The Biscuit Factory is an exciting new residential, commercial and retail quarter on the site of the old Peek Freans’ Factory — the factory famous for the supply of bourbon biscuits to Britain.

We are delighted to be working with Workspace Group to deliver an exciting new commercial scheme within the Biscuit Factory which will deliver 60-84 new office spaces along with a café and other facilities.

Initial works include the demolition of the existing ground floor and basement, and enabling works which include major services diversions to Gas, Water and Main Electric feeding the entire co-working estate.  A sensitive approach will be adopted to both demolition and construction to ensure minimum disruption to the neighbouring live offices.

HG Construction will self-deliver the piling on this scheme. The façade will be retained, and other elements of the existing building will be refurbished, with a new steel frame extension being added.

We are delighted to be involved in this exciting new development, which when complete will provide Southwark with its largest hub for small and growing businesses.
