Boatman’s House is an exciting and challenging project for our client London Green involving the redevelopment of office space into a residential scheme with 107 apartments. Located on the waterfront of Millwall Dock, the new scheme is called Dock East and will deliver 98 apartments under PD and 9 under standard planning requirements over 9 floors. There are balcony areas on 3 elevations, with the west offering views of the City.

There have been challenges to overcome with the existing structure, but thanks to a great team effort these works are due for completion imminently. As of January 2021, steel balconies are now installed up to 6th floor, with the steel extension due for completion by end of February. SFS is underway on lower floors and pods have been delivered up to 2nd floor. Internal works will commence in the next 4 weeks.
