It was a pleasure to work with a new client to deliver a wonderful new scheme in East Village. QDD, a joint venture between Qatari Diar and Delancey, had the vision to develop N05 East Village – a striking new affordable homes development which makes a positive addition to the East Village neighbourhood.

This stylish scheme comprises 48 homes across 6 levels, ground floor retail space, and space for community use including an innovative Neighbourhood Equipped Area of Play (NEAP). The homes have been designed to reduce environmental impact and offer improved accessibility, security, and space. HG self-delivered on key aspects of this scheme including piling, utility cupboards and M&E.

East Village is well connected to public transport networks, located around 5 miles to the east of central London and around 4 miles north of the River Thames. Formally the site of the Athlete’s Village during the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games, N05 sits to the northeast corner of East Village.
