Representatives from our Lambeth Mission site were delighted to make an appearance at the Festival of Apprenticeships, a great initiative which advocates, promotes and celebrates apprenticeships. The event is supported by JP Morgan and runs throughout National Apprenticeship Week at three regional events in Manchester, Birmingham, and London.

HG Construction is currently working in Lambeth on a mixed-use scheme for our client City Grove which involves the construction of a new modern, accessible church building including 2 new apartments to replace the existing Lambeth Mission & St Mary’s Church building, along with a new 12 storey Premier Inn offering 137 rooms.

We are committed to maximising apprenticeship opportunities at all our sites, working in partnership with our clients to ensure that the local communities benefit from our schemes. We were very impressed by the Festival of Apprenticeships with many young people in attendance keen to find out about how apprenticeships could work for them. We hope to have inspired some of them to consider the construction industry as a great career choice!
