We’re pleased to be welcoming our second electric van to HG Construction’s fleet of electric vehicles as part of our commitment to reducing our environmental impact.
The new van will emit approximately 3087.5 kgCO2e/year less than the old van which equates to a 45% saving. As we also use a green electricity tariff, this will reduce our emissions further.
HG now has almost 30 electric company vehicles and we plan to increase that amount over the next year. We will also be installing solar panels on the roof of the electric van to enable us to charge the van and achieve zero carbon.
