We are delighted to have reached handover stage at 1 Moulsecoomb Way in Brighton, a student housing led mixed-use scheme for our client McLaren Property. Completed in June, students have been moving in since mid-July ahead of the start of term.
This stylish, sustainable scheme boasts a BREEAM excellent rating and comprises 380 bedrooms, 1100m2 of office/retail units, and a 250m2 community space. The accommodation is within walking distance of Brighton’s two main universities and close to local bus and rail networks, with provision for electric car parking.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our time working on this scheme, particularly our engagement with the local community, including Moulsecoomb Primary School which we supported with a playground upgrade and new IT equipment in partnership with McLaren Property. This is the second project we’ve delivered for McLaren Property and we are delighted to be starting a third project with them on London Road, Brighton.
