CA Ventures is renowned as a leader in purpose-built student accommodation in the USA and Europe, and we’re delighted to be working with them to deliver one of their first schemes here in the UK.

The new development on Stour Rd, East London consists of 330 bed student accommodation and a commercial block. Demolition is now coming to completion and construction works will commence shortly. Interestingly, the site was previously home to John Broadwood & Sons piano factory, which was demolished and replaced in the 1960s. The design of the new building gives a stylish nod to the historical use of the site.

As well as a residential building for 330 students, the scheme encompasses incubator workspace for graduates, artists’ studios, and exhibition and performance space. The development is ideally placed for the University of the Arts London and is due for completion in Summer 2023.
