HG Construction is currently delivering a scheme for Metropolitan Thames Valley within the Old Kent Road Opportunity Area. This key development comprises two residential towers of 21 and 13 storeys and will provide 170 new homes with 36% affordable housing. It will also include c16,900 sqft of retail space on the ground floor, part of which will rehouse the existing Aldi store into a high-quality modernised unit.

Recent progress pics show how the scheme is really starting to take shape. The concrete frame at Block A is now finished and Block B is at level 7, with SFS and windows installation underway. Bathroom pods and utility cupboards are on site ready for installation. The scheme is aiming to achieve BREEAM Excellent.

This is one of a number of schemes we are currently working on in the Old Kent Road area and we are pleased to be contributing to the exciting regeneration of this neighbourhood.
