We were delighted to welcome a group of MBA students specialising in sustainability and innovation from the University of Oregon to our New Kent Road site last week. This scheme has been delivered in partnership with Southern Housing, one of the largest housing providers in the UK.

It was fascinating to hear about Southern Housing’s environmental sustainability strategy and sustainability performance, as well as their commitment to decarbonising their homes and heat networks.

The tour of the New Kent Road scheme included a visit to the plant room to look at the hybrid heating system and a studio apartment for a discussion around Heat Interface Units. This technology is helping to improve future home standards, driving efficiencies and reducing carbon emissions. We are pleased to be partnering with Southern Housing on a number of schemes across the UK and supporting them to deliver on their sustainability strategy.
