The topping out ceremony at our Stour Road site provided a great opportunity to get together and celebrate the team’s progress to date. Representatives from client CA Ventures and consultant teams gathered to mark the occasion with a silver trowel and some bricklaying for good measure!

CA Ventures is renowned as a leader in purpose-built student accommodation in the USA and Europe and it is great to be working with them on one of their first schemes here in the UK.

The Stour Road scheme consists of 330 bed student accommodation and a commercial block. The building’s design gives a stylish nod to the historical use of the site, which was previously home to John Broadwood & Sons piano factory prior to the 1960s. The scheme also encompasses incubator workspace for graduates, artists’ studios, and exhibition and performance space and promises to be a positive addition to the local area.
